M&C Saatchi’s Re agency has been named by waste management and recycling company Bingo Industries as the benchmark brand agency.
Re, one of Australia’s largest branding and design companies, will continue to transform Bingo Industries from a waste management company to a global leader.
Bingo joins Re’s design roster, which includes Optus, Commonwealth Bank, Woolworths, Colonial First State, UNSW, and Domain.
Benjamin Harrison – who returned to Australia in December to become managing director of Re Sydney – said Re is aligned with Bingo’s waste reduction mission.
“This is a very significant victory for Re – we strongly believe in the mission of Bingo. create a waste-free Australia, ”he said.
“Re is known for integrating brands into the national fabric through brand design and experience. Our goal is to help Bingo become the sustainability brand that every Australian – from schoolchildren to CEOs – will have a personal connection to.
“This month, our clients’ Commonwealth Bank and Optus were crowned Australia’s first and second strongest brands. Next year we want to see a Bingo push NRMA out of third place and take bronze.
Bingo Industries will continue to grow in 2021 by opening a premier recycling center in Eastern Creek, NSW.
The chief executive of CX and marketing of the company, Amanda Schmidhofer, said that hopping and tipping is only part of the history of bingo.
“Bingo turns trash into the things people want – it’s the essence of the cyclical economy,” she said.
“This new facility is truly the biggest and the best in the world. It can use bricks, concrete, glass, plastic, metal, sand, earth and wood, and at the one site in Sydney, turn them into a range of eco-products, including aggregates for roads, mulch, etc.
Re Agency led the refresh of the Commonwealth Bank’s iconic yellow diamond logo in late 2020.
