In Ontario, International Game Technology or IGT launched its Wheel of Fortune branded game as an electronic bingo game. According to the company, it would be “negotiating agreements with individual operators” to make its Wheel of Fortune Double 3X4X5X Pay Bingo and Wheel of Fortune Five Times Pay Bingo available at the 37 charitable gaming centers in Ontario certified for electronic bingo.

According to David Fraser, Senior Manager, Charitable Gaming, Ontario Lottery and Ontario Gaming Corporation, the introduction of IGT’s premium Wheel of Fortune titles as cabinet-based electronic bingo games has the potential to attract new and existing players to Ontario’s charitable gaming industry. These exciting additions will improve gameplay and expand product options for their service providers, which will help grow charity games and raise funds for local charities.
IGT has been bringing electronic bingo games to the Canadian market since 2018. IGT has been a partner of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation in all aspects of gaming for over two decades. Additionally, IGT licenses the Wheel of Fortune brand from Sony Pictures Television, developers of the eponymous television show, and has produced over 250 variations of the branded game since 1996.
