• Herminie Center for Active Adults, 101 Sewickley Ave., Herminie, is accepting table reservations for the indoor flea market scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on August 19. Cost: $5 each. Table reservations: 724-446-3282.

• 29e The annual Labor Day Poker Run to benefit the Westmoreland Yough Trail Chapter of the Great Allegheny Passage will begin in the Arthur H. King area of ​​the passage in West Newton, rain or shine. This is a non-competitive event that will include a 12-mile level bike ride and a 20-mile endurance bike ride, and a four-mile walk, jog or wheelchair ride. Participants walk or ride at their own pace and take a playing card from checkpoints along the way to form a poker hand. • The Blackburn Center in Greensburg will be offering weekly online training classes from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. twice a week starting September 12 for anyone interested in volunteering their time to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence and other crimes. Volunteers answer the helpline 24 hours a day and provide options, information and referrals. Hours are flexible and volunteers can work from home.
